Maverick also has 17B active parameters but uses 128 experts. It outperforms models like GPT-4o and Gemini 2.0 in coding, multilingual use, and image tasks. Meta also teased two new models: Behemoth, still training, with 288B active parameters, and Reasoning, coming next month. More updates are expected at Meta’s LlamaCon.
